First Grade News

Dear Families and Students,

Thank you for a great year!!


When I reflect on this school year, I instantly remember that orientation day back in August.  I knew then, that I had loving and caring parents, and I was not wrong.  Thank you for your support and help.  I certainly feel that we have all worked hard to make this a successful year for the students.


There are volunteers that I want to thank for their diligence and perseverance.  Special thanks to Anece Hughes and Niki Woodring for being “room moms” and classroom helpers; Lisa Rice, classroom helper; Ray Rice, Millennium Math; Marcy Kemmerer, portfolios; and again Niki Woodring, newsletter and website.  I loved working with you and appreciate all that you did for me and the students.  You are the BEST!!

Do have a wonderful summer and stop by to see me when school resumes in August.    I am planning on staying in the same classroom, so you know where to find me!!
